2. General terms and conditions of use of the website and services offered

Use of the website implies full acceptance of the terms and conditions of use described below. These terms and conditions of use may be amended or supplemented at any time; users of the website are therefore invited to consult them on a regular basis.

This website is normally accessible to users at all times. Laboratoires Noreva may decide to interrupt access due to technical maintenance, however, although they will endeavour to provide users with advance notice of the dates and times of the intervention.

The website is regularly updated by the Communications Team. Similarly, the legal notice may be amended at any time; it is nevertheless binding on the user, who is invited to refer to it as often as possible to ensure they are acquainted with it.

3. Description of services provided

The website aims to provide information on all of the company’s activities.

Laboratoires Noreva strives to provide information that is as accurate as possible on the website However, it cannot be held liable for omissions, inaccuracies or deficiencies in updates, whether due to itself or to the third-party partners who provide it with this information.

All of the information stated on the website is provided for reference only, and is subject to change. Moreover, information appearing on the website is not exhaustive. It is provided subject to amendments that have been made since it was put online.

4. Contractual limitation on technical data

The site uses JavaScript technology.

The website cannot be held liable for material damage related to the website’s use. In addition, the website user undertakes to access the website using recent equipment, which does not contain viruses and using an up-to-date latest generation browser.

5. Intellectual property and counterfeits

Laboratoires Noreva is the owner of the intellectual property rights or holds the rights of use to all of the accessible elements on the website, specifically the text, images, graphics, logo, icons, sounds and software.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the website, by any means or process, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of: Laboratories Noreva.

Any unauthorised use of the website or any of the elements it contains will be considered as constituting an infringement and prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

6. Limitations and liability

Laboratoires Noreva cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage caused to the user’s equipment when accessing the website, and resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications stated in point 4, or from the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.

Furthermore, Laboratoires Noreva cannot be held liable for indirect damage (for example, loss of market or loss of an opportunity) resulting from the use of the website

Interactive spaces (possibility of asking questions in the contact space) are available to users. Laboratoires Noreva reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content posted in this space that would violate the law applicable in France, particularly the provisions relating to data protection. Where applicable, Laboratoires Noreva also reserves the right to invoke the civil and/or criminal liability of the user, in particular in the event of a racist, abusive, defamatory or pornographic message, whatever the medium used (text, photograph, etc.).

7. Management of personal data 

In France, personal data is primarily protected by Law No. 78-87 of 6 January 1978, Law No. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, Article L. 226-13 of the French Penal Code and the European Directive of 24 October 1995.

At the time of use of the website, the URL of the links through which the user accessed the website, the user’s access provider and the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address can be collected.

However, Laboratoires Noreva only collects personal data relating to the user for the requirements of certain services offered by the website Users provide this information knowingly and willingly, particularly when entering it themselves. It is therefore specified to the user of the website whether or not they are obliged to provide this information.

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 38 et seq. of Law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data protection, all users have the right to access, correct and object to the personal data concerning them, by making a written and signed request, accompanied by a copy of their identity document signed by the document holder, specifying the address to which the reply must be sent.

None of the personal information concerning the user of the website shall be published without their knowledge; it shall not be exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold to third parties on any medium whatsoever. Only in the event that Laboratoires Noreva and its rights were bought out would the transmission of said information to the purchaser be permitted, who would in turn be bound by the same obligation to store and amend data concerning the user of the website

The website is not declared to the CNIL [French National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties] because it does not collect personal information.

The databases are protected by the provisions of the law of 1 July 1998 transposing directive 96/9 of 11 March 1996 on the legal protection of databases.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Any dispute in relation to the use of the website is subject to French law. Exclusive jurisdiction is attributed to the competent courts of Paris.
